The Bibliographical Society of Canada (BSC) is pleased to announced that Dr Ruth Bradley-St-Cyr has been appointed editor of the Society’s bilingual, peer-reviewed journal, Papers of the Bibliographical Society of Canada/Cahiers de la Société bibliographique du Canada.
Dr. Bradley-St-Cyr is currently part-time professor of English and Canadian Film at the University of Ottawa, where she also completed her PhD in 2014. She has published and presented widely and she has received research grants or fellowships from Queen’s University, the Ontario Arts Council, the Saskatchewan Arts Council, and the University of Ottawa. In 2016 she was awarded a Tremaine Fellowship from the BSC for her ongoing research on the Ryerson Press. Dr Bradley-St-Cyr succeeds Professor Eli MacLaren (McGill University), who skillfully edited the journal from 2012 to 2017.
Dr. Bradley-St-Cyr will work in collaboration with the journal’s editorial team as well as a renewed editorial board composed of Claire Battershill (Simon Fraser University), Fiona Black (Dalhousie University), Cecily Devereux (University of Alberta), Marie Korey, and Isabelle Robitaille (Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec).
